Ormond-By-The Sea Aerie # 4435

Rule #1 Under the direction of the Aerie, the Board of Trustees shall have control of all who may be engaged for activities at the Aerie.

Rule #2 Any activities proposed must be brought to the trustees for approval of dates, times, availability and designation monies so that the Aerie will not duplicate or schedule events on the same dates, times and charities.

Rule #3 Intoxication, indulgence in profane, vile or boisterous language, or use of illegal narcotics on the part of a member or guest within the home or on the premises is strictly prohibited.

Rule #4A The Board of Trustees shall be responsible for the orderly and gentlemanly conduct of members in the home. Said Board of Trustees shall have the power to deny club privileges, with the exception of Aerie meetings to any member who shall have violated any house rules, for a period of up to Ninety (90) days. The Board of Trustees may delegate authority to enforce rules #2 and #3 to the bartender on duty. If any member does no leave the premises immediately when asked to do so, a Trustee will be called.

Rule #4B If local police have to be summoned, and a trespassing warning is issued on said individual (or individuals), all local laws will prevail.

Rule #5 If, and when, any member destroys or damages any property of the Aerie, and that member refuses or fails to reimburse the Aerie for full value thereof, he/she will have charges filed against him or her by the Board of Trustees. No articles belonging to the Aerie shall be taken from the premises, except in the interest of the Order, and then only on the written consent of the majority of the Board of Trustees, such articles must be specified in the written orders, which may be handed to the Board of Trustees, and a date set for its return.

Rule #6 Any member who is delinquent on his or her dues shall forfeit all Aerie privileges.

Rule #7 A visiting Eagle from another Aerie may visit the home upon presentation to the Trustee or their delegate their official receipt, showing them in good standing. All the visitors register their name, address and Aerie Number in the Visitors Register. Enforcement of this rule will be the responsibility of the bartender on duty or the doorman. Local members may be requested to present their official "paid up" receipt at any time, in the home, by the trustee or their delegate.

Rule #8 All prospective members must be introduced by a member, as provided by the Alcohol and Beverage commission rules, and registered by them in the visitors register book. Any member introducing a prospect shall be responsible for the conduct of the prospective member while the latter is in the Aerie home. A prospective member may visit the Aerie Home Three (3) times before they are expected to join the Aerie.

Rule #9A Minors will be allowed in the Social Room only when accompanied by their parents or a guardian who is responsible for them.

Rule #9B All minors must exit the Social Room by 20:00 hours (8 PM).

Rule #10 Operation of the TV and Jukebox and all audio equipment to the discretion of a trustee or the bartender on duty ONLY.

Rule # 11 Alcoholic refreshments shall not be sold to non-members.

Rule #12 No refreshments shall be sold or served except on payment , in cash, and then only shall the same be served to members or guests as per the Alcohol Commission rules.

Rule #13 Shirts and shoes are to be worn at all times while in the Aerie home.

Rule #14 Any member with knowledge of any violations of these rules is required to report the same to the trustees and shall sign a written statement of such violations, on request.

Rule #15 These House Rules are consistent with, and in compliance with, the laws of the State of Florida, under whose authority the Social Room of the Aerie is operating. Violations thereof will result in the revocation of the license issued by the state laws. Rules and regulations changing the effect of these rules shall include, but not be necessarily be limited to, any conduct unbecoming of an Eagle, (at any Aerie function, on or off premises) which will include any violation of the House Rules and/or personal conduct likely to bring disgrace upon the Order.

Rule #16A In the event any member or guest physically abuses any officer, bartender or patron of the Aerie, he or she will be barred or expelled automatically from this Social Room.

Rule #16B In the event any member physically or verbally abuses another member, charges will be filed and processed through the trial procedures of the Aerie.

Rule #17 No animals will be allowed in the Social Club (except for seeing eye dogs, as required by law).

Rule 17A Use of the Social Hall for private parties must be approved by the Board of Trustees.

Rule 17B All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the Aerie.


Rule #18 Bad checks will result in loss of Aerie privileges until they are paid for and a charge of $25.00 per insufficient check. $25.00 max per check written per day only.

Rule #19 The above "House Rules" are made for the benefit of all members and non-compliance may result in suspension of all club privileges.

Rule #20 No one shall be permitted behind the bar, unless they are involved in the operation of the bar.
